Terms and Conditions
When required by law, Comternet shall cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory agents in cases that involve customer(s) who use our network for:
i. Unlawful access or fraudulent use of a computer
ii. Identity theft, impersonation or unauthorized disclosure of access codes
iii. Unlawful interception, or any form of system interference
iv. Violation of intellectual property rights
v. Any other use for unlawful purposes, including terrorism, promoting racial, religious or other hatred or any unlawful sexual purposes.
In addition:
i. Comternet will terminate without notice to customer once it gets information on a customer who uses Comternet network for activities not permitted by law or a customer who is a minor.
ii. Customer or Comternet has the right to terminate the service with a notice of one month for the business customers with SLA. Comternet will inform customers six months ahead of planned upgrade that will require change of CPEs.
However unplanned changes like change of faulty CPEs and repair of faulty links will be done immediately Comternet has information of the fault.
iii. Comternet will also inform customers ahead within any time of planned maintenance and dates they will be carried out.
iv. Comternet shall not be held liable to any loss or damage cause as a use of the equipment or service provided by Comternet.
v. Comternet has the right to review this code of practice in line with operational realities or requirement from regulatory body like Nigeria Communications Commission.
