She said this will complement the Akwa Ibom State Government drive in promoting investment and build a robust technology ecosystem in the state. She also stated that availability of Comternet reliable and affordable internet can attract private sector investors to come and do business in the state having the assurance that they will get reliable digital connectivity.The CEO reiterated that Comternet will not stop in providing superior internet service to homes and businesses in Uyo and Nigeria in general which will contribute to Nigeria achieving its National Broadband Plan target of 70% broadband penetration by 2025, projected to boost the country digital economy, noting that every 10% increase in broadband penetration results in about 2.6% to 3.8% growth in GDP of an economy.
